HOW IT WORKS
We take a look at your construction drawings and crunch some numbers to figure out how much it's gonna cost to build. We break down the materials, labor, equipment and everything is listed out in a super detailed spreadsheet, which you get back in 24-48 hours.
We've got a lot of repeat customers who are architects, contractors, developers, general contractors and home owners who need to know what they're gonna be up against cost-wise before they put in a bid or break ground.
An estimate takes the quantities from your drawings (like how much concrete you need or how much pipe you need to lay down) and adds the cost to it. A takeoff just measures those quantities. Either way you can go with it.
Pretty darn accurate. We're talking 95% or better. We've got a senior estimator that goes over every one of our estimates before we send it out to make sure it's right. We've also got some pretty fancy digital takeoff software that helps us out, and we keep up to date on the latest supplier pricing - so no wild guessing.
GETTING STARTED
PDFs of your drawings. The more detailed the better, but if you've just got a rough idea of what you want we can still work with it.

No worries at all. We can give you a preliminary estimate that's got some built in contingencies, and as you get closer to finishing up we can refine the numbers.
Most of the time it's 24-48 hours, but if you're starting a big commercial project it might take a bit longer - 3-7 days. We can also do rush service if you're on a tight deadline.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
An Excel spreadsheet with all the itemized details, like how much material you need, how many labor hours there are, and all the totals. Plus we'll mark up the drawings in colour so you can see exactly what we came up with.
Yeah no problem. If you send us your template we'll fill it in and send it back to you. Saves you the hassle of reformatting and it'll all tie in with your systems.
PRICING & PAYMENT
It depends on the size and scope of the project, but a simple residential one can start out around $200-400 CAD - we'll give you an exact quote before we do any work so there's no surprises.
Nope. We'll give you a quote and if you decide you want to go ahead and work with us you can pay us. Otherwise there's no charge.
Credit card, debit, e-transfer and PayPal. Payment is due before we start work, but we can work out invoice terms for our regular customers.
Minor tweaks are free, but if you want to change up the plans or add some new scope we'll give you a quote for it since the base work is already done.
CANADA-SPECIFIC
Yeah we do. National Building Code, provincial variations, energy codes and all that jazz. We make sure our estimates are up to snuff for where you are in Canada.
We've got a database of all the major Canadian markets so we can adjust for the different pricing in your area. Material costs, labor rates and productivity factors all vary depending on where you are.
All of them - we've got a stronger presence in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec and the Maritimes.
